WNA SSO Login Fails After Changing Windows User Password

This problem can occur on any platform.


Window Native Authentication (WNA) enabled SSO login is failing for a user who has recently changed their Windows user password. When accessing the WNA-enabled 10gAS site the user is redirected to the SSO login page.

WNA login was working for the user before the password was changed.

If the same Windows domain user tests WNA login from another computer it is successful. 

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open Internet Explorer
2. Access the intranet 10gAS site and click login
3. The 10gAS SSO login page is displayed instead of automatic login to the site


The user has changed their Windows domain password.
