Symptoms

When running an Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Interface with long table and/or column names (for example, 30 characters), an overflow error is signaled on temporary table/column names:

Identifier Length Exceeds the maximum allowed by this version of the server

or:

java.sql.SQLException: ORA-00972: identifier is too long
