Symptoms

Problems may arise when passing Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Variables as arguments to a Java function.

For example, when passing the #ROOT_DIR Variable to an ODI User-Defined Function (note that the implementation of ODI User-defined Functions uses Java command lines):
