Symptoms

When referencing an Oracle table through a database link (DBLink) or private Synonym, Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) reverse engineers the table name but does not indicate column information (whether standard or customized reverse engineering modes are used).

The article applies to all releases of ODI like the current 12C as well as to previous releases.
