'Unexpected token' Message Signaled when Creating a Data Server with the ODI LDAP Driver (Doc ID 424016.1)

Symptoms

After first testing the connection to an LDAP Directory with an LDAP Browser to ensure correct parameters, it was then attempted to initiate a Dataserver with the ODI LDAP Driver from Topology Manager > Physical Architecture.

However, the following message was displayed indicating that the operation had failed :
