Row And Page Locking Experienced When ODI Repositories Are Installed On Sybase (Doc ID 424020.1)

Symptoms

Lockouts are often experienced when working in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Designer and Operator when the Repositories are installed on Sybase databases.

These problems are encountered by connected users who are unable to shutdown these GUI modules without killing ODI from the system task manager.

Other users attempting to log in, open up the login screen and after clicking on the OK button to bring up ODI Designer, the module is not launched as expected. If the connections which have set locks in the database are killed, ODI Designer is successfully launched.
