Goal
In Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), after having activated Simple Journalization on a Datastore, the Journal table does not appear to reflect the changes that have been applied to the Journalized Datastore.
The problem is that an application automatically updates the data of my journalized Datastores and the updates are performed on columns that compose the Primary Key of my Datastore.
As a result, the content of the Journal table is incorrect.
The Primary Key is defined in the Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Repository and not necessarily in the database.
The article applies to all releases of ODI like the current 12C as well as to previous releases.
