'SQL command not properly ended' Message When Running An ODI Integration Interface. (Doc ID 424134.1)

An ODI Integration Interface using the LKM Oracle to Oracle (dblink) no longer functions correctly and raises the following message at runtime :

java.sql.SQLException: ORA-00933: SQL command not properly ended

Note that the user account password of the connection to the Oracle database has been modified and now contains a non-alphanumeric character, $.
