Goal

How is it possible to initialize Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) (Sunopsis) Variables using OPTIONAL parameters when launching startscen scripts (.sh and .bat)?

For example, in certain cases, date values required for ODI (Sunopsis) Package processing may, or may not be known at launch time. However, the Package Variable must have a value in order for the Package to run successfully.

What is the best way of allowing such flexibility with ODI (Sunopsis).
