Symptoms
In Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) (Sunopsis), it appears that there are some concerns with multibyte data processing on Microsoft SQL Server:
Examples:
Users can view and directly transfer Chinese (or other multibyte) data from Microsoft SQL Server but adding a Filter against the Chinese (or other multibyte) data in the Integration Interface appear to function incorrectly.
Note: this problem is uncommon in a single-language environment (when either Chinese or English is being used exclusively) and is only likely to occur in an environment where both languages are being used simultaneously.
