Accessing File Technology Folders with Jython in a Context Independent Way from ODI (Doc ID 424229.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 30, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Data Integrator - Version 3.2.03.01 and later
Oracle Data Integrator on Marketplace - Version 1.0.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

It is necessary to pre-process sets of files with Jython scripts before processing them with Integration Interfaces / Mappings. It is therefore required to access the file system folder containing the files by navigating through the file system tree.

Is it possible to use currently defined Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) (Sunopsis) File technology Dataservers and the associated Physical and Logical Schemas - and the corresponding file system folders - in a Context-independant way in order to access the files for the Jython pre-processing?
