Goal

In Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), having developed technology specific End-User Functions, it is necessary to switch between the different technologies according the CONTEXT in which the Integration Interface / Mapping is to be run. Is this possible?

More specifically, in Topology Manager and from the CONTEXT treeview, 2 specific Contexts have been set with the following entries:

BOSTON Context:

LOG_SCHEMA : PHYS_SCHEMA_1 (implemented on ORACLE Database/Technology)

SAN FRANCISCO Context:

LOG_SCHEMA : PHYS_SCHEMA_2 (implemented on Microsoft SQLServer Database/Technology)
