Incorrect VARCHAR Attribute for 'DOUBLE PRECISION" Data Ttypes With Teradata (FastLoad)
(Doc ID 424319.1)
Last updated on OCTOBER 04, 2022
Applies to:
Oracle Data Integrator - Version 4.1.01.05 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
In Sunopsis version 3, when using the "LKM ISO SQL to Teradata (FastLoad)" the targeted string type definition for DOUBLE PRECISION or DATE, TIMESTAMP, TIME, INTERVAL data types is not long enough.
In fact, the KM unload DOUBLE PRECISION data types into zones defined as VARCHAR(20) and this appears insufficiently long.
What is the workaround ?
