"An object will be in an unidentified state..." Message Is Randomly Displayed When Refreshing An ODI Variable (Doc ID 424421.1)

Symptoms

The following message is displayed randomly in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI):

In ODI 12c and ODI 11g

com.sunopsis.core.SnpsStateException: ODI-10078: An object will be in an unidentified state (it is in the state "Not found in the database" and "Update" is currently being performed on it)
at com.sunopsis.dwg.DwgObject.computeNextState(DwgObject.java:817)
at com.sunopsis.dwg.DwgObject.updateControl(DwgObject.java:4392)
at com.sunopsis.dwg.DwgObject.update(DwgObject.java:4308)
...

for example, when refreshing an Oracle Data Integrator Variable, running a Scenario...

Note the line in the referred .java files might differ from one version of ODi to another.

In ODI 10g

Sometimes it may be observed that an Integration Interface takes a very long time to open.
