Goal

Is it possible to set up an alternative to Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) process which automatically converts Excel files to CSV files?

This would avoid manual operations and allow the setting up of chained automatic processes using Excel files as CSV sources for Integration Interfaces.

The article applies to all releases of ODI like the current 12C as well as to previous releases.
