'Error during Session Preparation' When Running A Scenario On An ODI Agent (Doc ID 424648.1)

Symptoms

Having started an Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Agent with the -NAME and -PORT parameters. Its active status is verified from Topology Manager.

However, whenever a Scenario, Integration Interface or Package is launched on this Agent, the run fails with the following message:
