Ldap Search Errors While Cloning Oracle Application Server Middle-Tier (Doc ID 427774.1)

After cloning a mid-tier instance that uses OID and then restoring it to a new Oracle Home on a different server located on a different subnet,  running the post cloning script clone.pl produces the following error message :
