Portal Logout out failure (Doc ID 427856.1)

Information in this document applies to any platform.Symptoms

1. Login into pls/orasso
2. Login into Portal
3. Logout of Portal
4. Return to the SSO logout page. This page shows the Portal partner application with associated Logout status check box un-ticked.
5. If using Firefox, you can see that the portal cookie remains, while SSO_ID cookie is removed after logout.
6. Check mod_osso.conf on SSO server and Portal mid-tier server, you can see that Global Inactivity Timeout is enabled (OssoIdleTimeout set to On)

This also happens if user only logins into Portal, but the Portal page contains images protected by the mid-tier's mod_osso, so in effect logins into mod_osso.
