Symptoms
OracleAS 10.1.3 has been 'integrated' with OracleAS Identity Management by following the steps given in the documentation e.g.
Oracle Application Server Administrator's Guide 10g Release 3 (10.1.3.1.0)

The objective is then to allow access of the Single Sign-On protected j2ee application via the short hostname. To do this it is necessary to uncomment the following lines in:
