OracleAS 10.1.3 has been 'integrated' with OracleAS Identity Management by following the steps given in the documentation e.g.
Oracle� Application Server Administrator's Guide 10g Release 3 (10.1.3.1.0)
Chapter 6 Reconfiguring Application Server Instances
The objective is then to allow access of the Single Sign-On protected j2ee application via the short hostname. To do this it is necessary to uncomment the following lines in:
#PerlModule Apache::ShortHostnameRedirect #PerlHeaderParserHandler Apache::ShortHostnameRedirect
PerlModule Apache::ShortHostnameRedirect PerlHeaderParserHandler Apache::ShortHostnameRedirect
After uncommenting these lines the HTTP Server fails to start with the following errors being seen in ORACLE_HOME/opmn/logs/HTTP_Server~1
