Applying AS Patchset 10.1.2.2.0 / Patch 4960210 Fails On Section 7.1.5 With "Error retrieving the OID Administrator DN. Please ensure that your OID connect information is correct." (Doc ID 433035.1)

Symptoms

Applying Application Server (AS) Patchset 10.1.2.2.0 / <> fails (during Section 7.1.5) with:

"Error retrieving the OID Administrator DN. Please ensure that your OID connect information is correct."

Tried resetting orcladmin password with command:
   oidpasswd conn=<servicename> reset_su_password=true

But AS patchset error persists.
