OIDDAS Creates Incorrect "uniquemember" Value When "orcldasusersearchbase" Has Multiple Containers (Doc ID 433844.1)

Last updated on JULY 01, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Internet Directory - Version: 10.1.4.0.1 to 10.1.4.0.1 - Release: 10gR3 to 10gR3
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In 10.1.4 OID, while managing groups using OIDDAS, the "uniquemember" attribute has an incorrect DN when there are multiple containers in the orcldasusersearchbase.

For example, the user entry with DN:

cn=test,ou=org1,ou=org2,ou=org3, cn=Users, dc=au, dc=oracle, dc=com

is incorrectly shown as:

cn=test1,cn=users,dc=au,dc=oracle,dc=com

This problem does not occur in 10.1.2.0.2 OID
