Symptoms

Access to the Portal application is no longer possible.  When accessing Portal the following error occurs:

Internal error (WWC-00006)
Unexpected error encountered in wwsec_app_priv.process_signon (User-Defined Exception)(WWC-41417)
An exception was raised when accessing the Oracle Internet Directory: 49: Invalid credentials
Details
Operation: dbms_ldap.simple_bind_s
OID host: <oid servername>
OID port number: <oid port number>
Entry DN:
orclapplicationcommonname=portal.<timestampe>,cn=portal,cn=products,cn=oraclecontext. (WWC-41743)

Changes


The DIT entry for the Portal Application has been updated changing the userpassword attribute:

cn=oraclecontext,cn=products,cn=portal,orclapplicationcommonname=portal.<timestamp>
