JNDI Lookup Fails In Java Web Start 1.6 (Doc ID 437894.1)

This problem can occur on any platform.

Symptoms

An EJB application is deployed into the Oracle Containers for J2EE 10g (10.1.3.1.0) .
When initializing the JNDI context to lookup the EJB bean via an  application (JavaWeb Start ),  the following exception is occurring :

Caused by: javax.naming.NamingException: META-INF/application-client.xml not found (see J2EE spec,
application-client chapter for requirements and format of the file)
