Documents Fail to Open when Using Checkout and Open Version 7.2.7

Product and Version: Checkout and Open in Native component, version 7.2.7
When using Checkout and Open version 7.2.7, documents may fail to open. The user sees an error that states:
The document name or path is not valid.
Try one or more of the following:
* Check the path to make sure it was typed correctly.
* On the File menu, click Open, Search for the file using this dialog box.
The Content Server log file contains an error similar to the following:
Webdav-Get- /My%20Query%20Folders/all/ Word%20File.doc: Not Found
