Oracle Imaging and Process Management - Version 4.0.3.0.0 to 10.1.3.6 [Release Stellent to 10gR3] Information in this document applies to any platform.
Purpose
When installing a new JD Edwards Web integration solution or troubleshooting an issue, what are the basic steps, rules, and most frequently encountered problems and solutions?
JD Edwards Web integration, also known as JDE Tight integration or Process Automation, touches many aspects of the JDE system and IPM system. It provides seamless integration to JDE Web client, enabling users to search and view IPM documents, open packages, as well as update and complete IPM Process packages without leaving JDE Web client. It is one of the most valuable integration provided.
Please be advised that this is NOT a step-by-step walk through on how to configure JDE Web integration, which is covered in the help file “SEIS.CHM” that comes with SEIS release CD.
It is recommended that one should have basic understanding of JDE system and IPM system (including Imaging, Process and Web) in order to have better understanding of the instructions in this guide.
Note: The last Acorde release (by Optika) was version 4.0 with SP 1. The first Stellent Imaging and Business Process Management (IBPM) release is version 7.5. The first Oracle Imaging and Process Management (IPM) release is 10gR3. This document uses IPM product names and new patch names, but all rules and steps apply to Acorde/IBPM products (3.1, 4.0, 7.5, 7.6, 10gR3) as well. Please use the old path name if you are working with Acorde or Stellent product versions. For example, the counterpart for patch “C:\Program File\Stellent\IBPM” is “C:\Program Files\Optika\Acorde”.
