Purpose

Idoc script has many non-standard things about it. What are some of these non-standard things and how can Idoc script be used in a more optimal way?

Scope

Idoc script is a custom scripting language specifically developed for the Content Server. Over the years, hundreds of components have been written using Idoc script and many issues repeatedly come up. This document tries to help address this by going over some of the standard questions and problems.
