Unable to add a new database provider to Content Server 10gR3


Symptoms

You’ve added a new database provider to a 10gR3 Content Server. When you restart the Content Server the provider indicates 0 of 0 connections available. When you click Info to go to the provider details page you see this message:

 

This is a preserve case database, but it is missing the ColumnTranslation table for it to work properly. Please check your resource tables.
