Where are Email Attachment Settings Stored for the DIS Client

I cannot figure out where the setting is stored that determines how Desktop Integration Suite (DIS) e-mail with attachments are handled on check in. We would like to pre-set this setting to "Separate Attachments" by setting the registry file to the appropriate value during installation, so the user does not have to do this manually. I know that this setting used to be stored in the Windows Registry (version 7.0), but I cannot figure out where it is stored now in higher versions.
