How To Propagate Folder Owner? (Doc ID 447484.1)

Goal

If you change the Folder Owner on a Folder to a different user, is there a way to propagate this change down to all subfolders? The Folder Owner field does not appear as an option to select on the Information Field Inherit Configuration page.
