Apache Fails to Start After Installation (Doc ID 449830.1)

Symptoms

New installation of Content Server 7.5.1 with Apache webserver. After adding in the necessary entries into the httpd.conf file, Apache will not start. It throws this error and does not even get so far as to write anything to a log file. Apache is running as the root user.

[root@server ~]# service httpd start
Starting httpd: Syntax error on line 1024 of /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf:
Cannot load /usr/cms_data/shared/os/linux/lib/IdcApache2Auth.so into server:
/usr/cms_data/shared/os/linux/lib/IdcApache2Auth.so: failed to map segment
from shared object: Permission denied
[FAILED]
