Chinese Document Shows Up With ???'s In The Title (Doc ID 450309.1)

Symptoms

When checking in documents that contain Chinese characters certain parts display the Chinese characters where as other parts display question marks instead.

The info view and in the folder view show the characters correctly, but when performing a search the search results come back with ???? instead of the Chinese characters in the title.
