Index Rebuild Attempt Throws Verity Error E0-0405 Or E0-0405 - Invalid Segment Name (Doc ID 450398.1)

Symptoms

During the Content Server Repository Manager admin applet search index rebuild, the following errors may be thrown in the Server Output based on the number of xMetadata fields that you have added and are listed via the Configuration Manager admin applet:

Error E0-0405 (Vdb): Invalid segment name ('ddd') in style.ddd

Error E0-0405 (Vdb): Invalid segment name ('wld') in style.ddd
stderr mkvdk: VDK error -31: couldn't open the collection
mkvdk: Internal error -2: failed to perform setup
