Goal

This article provides instructions on what you need to do if you are using Verity as the indexing and search solution and want to switch to database metadata searching. 

If you want to use full-text indexing and search, see the section 'Migrating from Verity to Database Searching/Indexing' in the Content Server installation.  

This solution will configure your system to search metadata only.
