Information in this document applies to any platform.
Product: Content Server

Symptoms

When  Batchloader is used to import content into the Content Server, the copyright symbols contained within metadata fields of the content items are displayed as squares after the content has been indexed and released in the content server. The database, Content Server, web server, and file system are set to use UTF-8 encoding. If the document's metadata is updated and changed back to a correct copyright symbol, the change is accepted and it is displayed properly. What could be causing this issue?
