Using Check Out and Open (COAO) with AD Gives a Local IDC Authentication Prompt

Symptoms
Using Active Directory integration with SCS v7.5.1 and the Check Out and Open component. When selecting Check Out and Open from the Actions menu, I am being prompted with an IDC Security authentication check. The only credentials that work here are local accounts, not AD accounts. None of our users have local or global accounts other that administrators. As such, Check Out and Open does not work for those that need it. Is there a configuration option that I've missed or something else to consider so that we're not prompted for those credentials?
