Exporting to an Excel File Followed by a Move of the File Results in Process Hanging (Doc ID 452879.1)

Symptoms

When running an Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Package / Scenario which :

  1. exports data to an Excel file
  2. then moves the exported file to another directory (OdiFileMove)

this second operation will fail as indicated by the locking of the Package / Scenario.
