Goal

How to stop client application receive HTTP 500 error when BPEL process throws SOAP faults?

Whenever a SOAP fault is returned by a BPEL process, the client application receives a "HTTP 500
Internal Server Error".
When examined closely, the SOAP fault message is received by the client, but instead of the
expected "HTTP 200 OK" status, we receive a "HTTP 500 Internal Server Error" status.
