Purpose

The purpose of this document is to cover several common deployment topologies in which Web Cache can be deployed or found. OracleAS Web Cache can be installed on a dedicated computer. You can also deploy OracleAS Web Cache on the same computer as the Oracle Application Server.

Depending upon the complexity of the deployment, and the resources available on the machine in which OracleAS Web Cache is installed, will affect the availability, stability and performance of your applications.
