Symptoms

For the OC4J home instance, the JNDI Browser works OK, all deployed applications are shown and data-sources and queues are correctly displayed.

If a new OC4J instance is created and then new data-sources and queues are added , it is not possible to retrieve them using the JNDI Browser of the Application Server Control (ASC).

Even more there is no way to select any of the deployed applications, the list is shown empty.

How to Reproduce:

a. Navigate to ASC topology page
    --> select home oc4j instance
    --> go to Administration
    --> select Services
    --> then select JNDI browser there it can be seen the items listed

b. Go back to the topology page

c. Select any other oc4j instance (custom) which has applications deployed.
    --> go to Administration
    --> select Services
    -->then select JNDI browser, which does not show any JNDI items and Select Application pull down menu does not contain any applications.
