Goal

This document is to explain for a customer on integrating Oracle Coherence with Hibernate, an object-relational mapping tool for Java environments. The functionality in Oracle Coherence and Hibernate can be combined such that Hibernate can act as the Coherence cache store or Coherence can act as the Hibernate L2 cache.
