Symptoms

A multi-line text item based on a varchar2 (2000) field is being used to enter text data. The text
item property 'Wrap Style' of 'Word' is being used. When the form is then run through reports extra
spaces are included in the report. For example, the text item looks as follows when entered in
Forms:

This line of text will look fine when entered into a multi-line text item of forms but will have
extra spaces when viewed from reports.


However, when the same line is printed from reports it looks as follows:

This line of text will look fine when entered into a multi-line text item of forms but will
have       extra spaces when viewed from reports.
