Goal
Given a current Application Server topology where the installation including Portal /Forms/J2EE midtiers and Infrastructure components are installed on a single server. To allow for increase capacity and to facilitate simpler DB backup procedures, one option would be to move just the database to a new and separate Database Server.
How does one move just the database of an installed complex AS installation to a new and separate database server ?
