"Error reading native data" When Processing CSV File With Empty Line From File Adapter (Doc ID 458482.1)

Symptoms

When using the file adapter to process an incoming comma separated values (CSV) file, which has an empty line at the end of the file, the following error is written to the domain.log file and the BPEL process fails:

Steps To Reproduce

  • deploy a BPEL process which reads from a CSV file
  • place an input file into the incoming folder, which contains a blank (empty) line at the end of
    the file
