SEVERE: Error attempting to join cluster: <IM Cluster name>
Stack trace:
oracle.ias.sysmgmt.exception.ClusterManagementException: Base Exception:
The Oracle Application Server instance "<instancename.domain>" is not compatible with
cluster "<IM Cluster name>". The Oracle Application Server instance can not join the cluster.
Usually, this error occurs because the Oracle Application Server instance has some components
which are not clusterable, or the Oracle Application Server instance has different components
installed and configured which are not in the cluster
Resolution:
Examine the component list in the OracleAS cluster and the Oracle AS instance to determine why
they are not compatible. User can remove/uninstall the non-clusterable or incompatible components,
and then try join cluster again.
