Goal
In Oracle Application Server environment, an OC4J instance can be set up to listen to HTTP in addition to AJP. When this OC4J instance needs to be run with multiple JVMs/Processes/numproc, it is required that each of the JVMs needs to be assigned a separate HTTP port.
Port assignment happens automatically for the AJP ports.
This article explains how to configure OC4J so that the HTTP ports are assigned in the same way as AJP ports, i.e. each JVM receives a HTTP port of its own automatically
