Goal

How to configure a custom 10g Application Server Single Sign-On (SSO) login module that will authenticate users using the browser certificate and OID certificate mapping search?

NOTE:

If the requirement is to implement Single Sign-On (SSO) authentication using user certificates where the first field value in the certificate Subject is used to search OID for the user entry, then this can be configured without OID Certificate Mapping Search functionality. The user certificate does not have to be stored in OID. Use the following SSO documentation:

Oracle® Application Server Single Sign-On Administrator's Guide 10g (10.1.4.0.1)
Chapter 8 Signing On with Digital Certificates

OID Certificate Mapping Search would be required if the user certificate Subject value does not match the userid in OID and the user certificate will not be stored in the user entry in OID.

Currently, OID Certificate Mapping Search is restricted to search using the certificate Subject Alternative Name/OtherName field value.
