Symptoms

Background:

Oracle Application Server IDM (Identity Management) 10.1.4 installed running SSO and OID services, and Oracle Application Server 10.1.2 HTTP Server (Apache 1.3) on another node.
Attempting to replicate a deployment described in the Oracle Identity Management 10.1.4 Enterprise Deployment Guide whereby an HTTP server is configured to act as an SSO front-end and directs single sign on requests to the SSO/OID servers using the AJP13 protocol.

The configuration works fine over AJP,  but if it is configured over SSL ( i.e. AJPS ), the HTTP Server does not start.

The following error can be seen in the HTTP Server OPMN log file HTTP_Server~1:

--------
<date time> Start process
--------
ORACLE_HOME/Apache/Apache/bin/apachectl start: execing httpd
[<date time>] [error] MOD_OC4J_0366: Failed to load iaspt library file "libiaspt.so" and the error message is "libiaspt.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory".
