Symptoms

When trying to log in to the Provisioning Gateway Admin Console, getting error message:

Microsoft.Web.Services3.Security.SecurityFault: Cannot connect to "OracleID" data repository. Your username or password may be incorrect.

Changes

There are actually two users in your OID server that have the user ID "orcladmin". there is the realm administrator which is used to login to the self service web page. There is also the super user account which goes by the same name but is not the same account. It is likely this super user account that is the problem. This user is located in Root DSE. Test this user account by entering the following ldapbind command to see if the account is locked, expired or using an incorrect password

ldapbind -p port_num -h hostname.domain.com -D "cn=orcladmin" -w password
