How to Configure OC4J_SECURITY to use a Different OID 10g Configset (Doc ID 467545.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 15, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Internet Directory - Version 9.0.4 to 10.1.4.3 [Release 10gR1 to 10gR3]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

If it is desired to shutdown the default OID configset (config 0) and bring up OID on a new configset, for example in the case where tuning parameters need to be adjusted or ports changed, there are some checks that must be done in order to ensure that OC4J_SECURITY will function correctly. This Note addresses those checks.

NOTE: It is recommended that the Default Configuration Set NEVER be adjusted for ANY reason.
