Symptoms

When using the 10.2.x JDBC Thin driver to use the OracleConnectionCacheCallback feature provided with the OracleDataSource package, the AbandonedConnection timeout property does not work. When running in a test in which the specified period of time elapses, the ConnectionCallback is not invoked, contrary to expectations.

The problem does not reproduce when using the JDBC OCI driver.
